There are few words that can describe the pleasure of singing together at Christmas, and ACS will sing with absolute joy, carols old and new. We are proud to commission a new carol from South Australian composer and ACS alto Rachel Bruerville (whose ACS commission and performance of In Due Season was nominated for Vocal/Choral Work of the Year in the APRA AMCOS /Australian Music Centre 2019 Art Music Awards), and will be joined by St Peter’s Cathedral organist David Heah. With the most uplifting music of the season, Morning Star is a celebration of Christmas in full ACS jubilant style.

Featuring music by Byrd, Britten, Matthias, Jonathan Dove, Sally Beamish and glorious traditional carols.

Duration – 75 minutes (including a 10 minute stretch break)
