We are delighted to release details of our 2016 season including four subscription programs. Immortal Fire pays homage to music’s patron saint – St Cecilia – with music born of vision, love and devotion. In Annelies we welcome guest artists soprano Greta Bradman, The Benaud Trio and Adelaide Symphony Orchestra clarinettist Dean Newcomb to present James Whitbourn’s work based on the diary of Anne Frank. Our Associate Conductor Christie Anderson has created a beautiful September program – Songs of Longing inspired by song cycles by Adrian Williams and Irving Fine. And we join forces with the Melbourne-based Polyphonic Voices in Fauré’s own chamber version of his timeless Requiem as our final concert of the year.
Our subscription packages for 2016 continue to offer fantastic benefits including no booking or service fees, free concert programs, complimentary tickets for your friends, and a free ticket exchange service. Download the booking form. Single tickets to our four concerts are available through www.trybooking.com for a very reasonable booking fee of 30c per ticket or if you prefer not to book online, you can purchase over the phone or in person through BASS.
